List of activities organized by the cell during 2017-18: -


  • An orientation camp was attended by 10 students along with counsellor Dr. Seemant at M.D.University, Rohtak on 22 September 2017.
  • Rally was conducted on AIDS awareness on 1 Dec. 2017.
  • A five day youth Red Cross District - Level Camp was attended by six students along with counsellor at Hindu College, Sonipat from 16-01-18 to 20-01-18.

BLOOD DONATION

A Blood donation camp was organized on the eve of Shaheedi Diwas on 22nd March 2017 by Red Cross Cell, NSS and B.Voc. courses Sports Nutrition and Physiotherapy & catering technology and Hotel Mangement in collaboration with Red Cross Society, Sonipat. Approx. 100 units of blood were donated in the this camp by faculty members, students and local resident. This blood donation camp was organized with a motive to give service to humanity by conveying a message, "open your heart - open it wide, Someone is standing outside".



FIRST AID TRAINING CAMP

A First Aid Training Camp was organized from 17-03-2017 to 23-03-2017 by Red Cross Cell, NSS and B.Voc. courses Sports Nutrition and Physiotherapy and Catering Techology and Hotel management in collaboration with Red Cross Society. Sh. Dharamveer Dahiya gaev some useful tips during this training regarding primary medical aids. Students also learnt how to give assistance to any person suffering a sudden illness or injury with care provided to preserve life. He also made aware the students by giving some empirical knowledge. Dr. Seemant, Dr. Sushma, Dr. Suman and Mr. Parveen did enthusiastic efforts to made this camp a grand success. Total 185 students were benefitted by this training.
